Outlook 2000 — Connecting to Exchange Server 5.5

To configure Outlook 2000 to work with an Exchange Server, proceed with the following steps.

Steps One and Two

1. From your Desktop, right click on Microsoft Outlook.
2. Then Select Properties.

   

3. Remove every item EXCEPT for Outlook Address Book.

   

4. Click on Add, and choose Microsoft Exchange Server
   
   

   

5. Type mail.onapps.net in the field labeled Microsoft Exchange Server
6. Type your mailbox name (username) in the Mailbox field.
   

   

7. Press Check Name to ensure your mailbox is found on the server.
8. Click on the Advanced Tab.
   
9. Underneath Logon network security, select none

   

10. Press the OK button.
