In Outlook Express select Tools then Accounts.
Click Add and select Mail.
Enter Your Name and clickNext.
Select I already have an email address I’d like to use and type it in. Click Next.
Select POP3 and enter mail.onet.net for Incoming and Outgoing email server and click Next.
Enter your account name if Outlook Express has not already entered it for you. You account name
will be your username without the @onet.net, entered your password and click Remember password if
you would like to do so. Click Next.
Click Finish to close the window. Click Properties in the window that remains open.
In the window that opens, click the tab labeled Servers.
Under Outgoing Mail Server, verify that My Server Required Authentication is checked.
Click Settings which is located to the right of the checkbox. Verify that under Login Information
the radio button that is selected is Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Click OK twice to close the windows then click Close. This should bring you back
to the main Outlook Express menu. Your e-mail account should now be functional.
